Easy and Delicious Dinner
Hello all! I hope you are having a great post Valentine's day. I really wanted to post this recipe yesterday in lieu of Valentine's day, but things just didn't work out that way. Anyways, I had this amazing meal the other night; a very tender pork roast cooked on the grill by my boyfriend and parmesan baked peas, carrots, and rice made by me!
As I mentioned my boyfriend cooked the porkloin on the grill, he grilled the pork for about 2 1/2 hours and it was so good! As far as I know he only put two types of spices on the pork: McCormick Chicago Steak seasoning & McCormick N'Orleans Cajun seasoning.
The other yummy part of the meal was the baked parmesan peas, carrots, and rice. It's such a simple recipe: Small frozen bag of peas, small bag baby carrots, 3 boil-n-bags of rice, 2 tsp garlic, 1 tbsp butter, & 1 cup parmesan. I cooked the rice in the microwave for 10 minutes, I also cooked the carrots and peas in the microwave for 10 minutes. Next, I mixed all of the ingredients together in a 8 x 8 pan( sprinkled some cheese on top) and put it in the oven on 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
I really hope you try this meal, it really is delicious and not expensive at all. As a matter of fact I got a great deal on a 3lb porkloin at my local grocery store, originally priced for $22 and I got it for $10! If you try out these recipes leave a comment and let me know what you think, I hope you enjoy!
